Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various electrical systems within our landscaping projects. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and highly collaborative.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect and select materials and supplies from the stockroom.
Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times by you and the team.
Assist with the maintenance of mechanical systems, including fuel installation, LEV systems, and tool inspection.
Conduct testing and maintain records to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all site systems.
Support the planning and installation of electrical wiring for lighting and other electrical systems.
Assist with the installation of electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment such as fire alarms, safety systems, and power distribution components.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions or hazards in electrical systems, replacing damaged units as necessary.
Assist with electrical wiring installation in buildings, and resolve system/power blackouts and appliance repairs.
Follow all customs and logistics requirements regarding the transport of materials for touring productions.
Requirements
Ability to follow and execute instructions with precision and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, able to interact tactfully with faculty, staff, and students. Must have access to reliable transportation and be able to work outside of normal business hours. At least 6 months of relevant experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting. Completion of a Technical or Vocational course of study in Electricity, Welding, or a similar field. Minimum of 1 year of related experience (preferred).
