1. Assemble, install, test, and maintain control and automation systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo motors, sensors, HMIs, and other industrial devices, using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning control systems, wiring, panels, and automation components using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.), hand tools, and software diagnostics to locate faults and restore system functionality.
3. Perform wiring, termination, and connection of control panels, PLCs, servo drives, field devices, and communication networks (Ethernet/IP, etc.) following electrical standards and control schematics.
4. Interpret and work from EPLAN electrical schematics and technical drawings for the installation, testing, and maintenance of Electrical and automation systems.
5. Inspect and verify electrical control systems, panels, and equipment to identify hazards, non-conformities, or the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Advise management on system risks, equipment failures, and necessary corrective actions to ensure safe and reliable operation of the electrical and automation systems.
7. Perform continuity, grounding, and functional testing on electrical wiring, equipment, control panels, and devices to ensure compliance with system specifications and safety requirements.
8. Install ground leads, power supply cables, and control wiring to electrical equipment, distribution panels, and control cabinets in accordance with electrical standards and local regulations.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Electrical Supervisor related to control systems, automation, and electrical installations.
Qualifications:
1/ High school diploma or equivalent education required.
2/ Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical control systems, automation, or industrial equipment maintenance, including troubleshooting of PLCs, servo motors, and control panels.
3/ Strong experience in diagnosing and resolving electrical and automation system faults using testing tools.
4/ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering, and wiring termination techniques for panel assembly and field installations.
5/ Solid problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to identify root causes of control system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
6/ Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
