Job Description

Job Purpose:

To perform the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and related electrical systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install EV chargers at various locations including residential, commercial, and public sites as per project requirements and safety standards. Perform electrical wiring, conduit installations, and connection of chargers to power sources. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks and perform preventive maintenance on EV chargers. Diagnose and repair electrical faults in chargers, including hardware and connectivity issues. Coordinate with project engineers and civil teams to ensure site readiness. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and company standards. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and checklists. Monitor inventory of materials, tools, and equipment required for installations and repairs. Support remote troubleshooting in coordination with technical support teams if needed. Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or ITI Certification in Electrical or relevant field. Minimum 2-4 years of electrical work experience; experience with EV charger installation is highly preferred. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage. Sound knowledge of electrical systems, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting methods. Familiarity with EV charger brands and software (e.g., ABB, Schneider, Delta, etc.) is a plus. Ability to work independently and in outdoor/site environments. Good communication and reporting skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
