Job Description

An electrician is a skilled tradesperson responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities



Installation and Maintenance

: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Troubleshooting

: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, such as power outages, short circuits, and equipment malfunctions using appropriate testing devices.

Blueprint Interpretation

: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations accurately.

Safety Compliance

: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Collaboration

: Work with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to coordinate electrical work and ensure integration with other building systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications



Education

: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship or technical training program.

Experience

: Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including multimeters, voltage testers, and power tools.

Physical Stamina

: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces or at heights.

Problem-Solving

: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
