Install, connect, and commission street light poles, luminaires, control panels, and feeder cables.
Perform routine inspection and maintenance of existing street lighting systems to ensure proper functioning.
Identify and repair faults such as blown fuses, faulty photocells, damaged cables, or light fittings.
Carry out wiring, jointing, and termination of underground and overhead cables as per safety standards.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks on street lighting circuits and control units.
Replace defective components such as lamps, ballasts, contactors, and switches.
Work safely with tools, ladders, and hydraulic lifts while handling live circuits under supervision.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, company safety policies, and relevant authority standards.
Assist in testing, commissioning, and documentation of new lighting installations.
Report material requirements, job progress, and field issues to the Foreman or Engineer.
