Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled

Electrician cum Supervisor

with strong petrochemical plant experience to oversee electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of site activities in a factory environment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in hazardous areas and ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems in compliance with plant and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities within the petrochemical plant. Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution boards, panels, motors, and control systems. Handle electrical equipment in hazardous (ATEX-classified) areas, ensuring full safety compliance. Support operation and maintenance of laboratory and filling station electronic equipment. Work with coupled motors and integrated gear systems. Assist with PLC, SCADA, and plant instrumentation-related electrical works. Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, including confined space entry and lockout/tagout procedures. Lead and coordinate technicians, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Electrical Engineer or Electrical Diploma

(mandatory).

UAE work experience required

Requirements

Minimum

5+ years of experience

in a

petrochemical or manufacturing plant

. Valid

Hazardous Area Certification

and safety training (Confined Space Entry, LOTO, etc.). Strong understanding of

ATEX classifications

. Good working knowledge of

PLC, SCADA, and plant instruments

. Experience with

electrical distribution boards

installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Sound knowledge of

electronic equipment

used in laboratories and filling stations. Physically fit to work in

high-temperature environments
