Job Description

The electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a facility. This includes ensuring compliance with electrical codes, diagnosing, and troubleshooting electrical issues, and collaborating with other maintenance and facility management staff. (MEP Experience is an advantage)

Conduct routine PPM & inspections to identify and address potential electrical issues proactively. Perform CM/EM repairs & replacement on electrical failure or damaged electrical fixtures. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Upgrade or replace outdated electrical systems to enhance efficiency and safety. Diagnose and repair electrical problems, including malfunctioning circuits, faulty wiring, and other electrical issues. Respond promptly to emergency situations such as power outages and electrical failures. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulations. Implement and adhere to safety protocols to minimize risks associated with electrical work. Coordinate with other maintenance and facility management staff to address overall facility needs. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work status, timelines, and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records, service reports of all electrical work, including repairs, installations, and inspections. Provide input for the development of maintenance schedules and plans. Stay informed about advancements in electrical systems, technologies, and codes. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Be available for on-call duty to respond to emergency electrical issues outside regular working hours.
