Completed technical course or program related to electrical field.
Minimum of 5 years of practical and hands-on experience in the same field.
Solid knowledge in all aspects of electrical maintenance
Good communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and equipment specifications.
Main Objective:
To perform all electrical related work in the facilities and ensure that the electrical systems are adhering to electrical and building codes.
Duties & Tasks:
Perform all the Electrical PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) within the buildings including but not limited to Periodic Testing (such Electrical Installation Condition Report), Emergency Lighting Testing, PAT, Lamp and Ballast replacement, etc.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Conduct a regular inspection on electrical systems, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Perform testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment including but not limited to lighting, small power, air conditioning, ventilation, and cables.
Ensures compliance to systems, processes and procedures.
Carry out other related duties as instructed by the management.
Provide weekly and monthly reports to Team Leader.
