We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team for upcoming substation and power infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience working on TAQA or TRANSCO projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical installation, cabling, wiring, and termination work in substations and related facilities. Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematics. Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Support project engineers and supervisors in field execution and commissioning activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in substation or power infrastructure projects. Proven experience working on TAQA or TRANSCO projects (mandatory preference). Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, control panels, and protection systems. Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents accurately. Familiarity with UAE electrical standards and safety regulations. Technical Diploma or ITI Certificate in Electrical or related field. Physically fit and able to work at project sites. Good communication and teamwork skills.
