ELECTRICIAN
Job Title: Electrician
Experience Level: Minimum 1-2 years
Reporting To: Electrical Supervisor / Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical installation tasks under the guidance of senior staff. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the high-quality installation of cable containment, wiring systems, and distribution boards in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cable Tray Installation: Accurately measure, cut, bend, and install various types of cable tray systems (ladder, perforated, trough) as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Glanding & Termination: Perform expert glanding of armored and non-armored cables onto equipment. Terminate cables into distribution boards, panels, and devices, ensuring all connections are secure and properly torqued.
• GI Conduiting: Execute the complete installation of Galvanized Iron (GI) conduits, including bending with hydraulic benders, threading, and secure fastening to walls, ceilings, and structures.
• DB Dressing: Professionally dress Distribution Boards (DBs), ensuring all cables are neatly routed, bundled, and labeled. Perform correct connections of MCBs, RCCBs, and busbars.
• Testing & Inspection: Assist in continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity testing of circuits. Prepare work for inspection by superiors.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar electrical installation role.
• Proficiency in the core tasks of cable tray, conduiting, glanding, and termination.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety practices.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
