Electrician
Job Description
nstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using testing devices such as multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes (local and international) and safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to execute projects efficiently.
Prepare reports on work performed, materials used, and progress updates.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary corrective actions.
