Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Electrical Technician
to join our water treatment operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment critical to water purification and distribution.Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in water treatment facilities. Diagnose and repair faults in motors, pumps, control panels, and instrumentation. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Assist in the calibration and configuration of SCADA systems and PLCs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in water treatment or utilities. Familiarity with control systems, VFDs, and instrumentation. Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills:
Experience with SCADA and PLC programming. * Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment.
