Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Elevator Technician

to install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and perform regular maintenance checks on elevators and escalators. Identify and troubleshoot defects or malfunctions using diagnostic tools. Install and repair elevator mechanisms and electrical wiring. Conduct safety tests and periodic inspections as per industry standards. Respond to emergency call-outs for elevator breakdowns. Replace faulty components such as motors, switches, and control systems. Maintain service records of all maintenance and repair work. Communicate with building management regarding elevator performance. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. Experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
