Minimum Technical / Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate or equivalent in Electrical field
Role Summary
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and routine electrical maintenance activities within the Sewage Treatment Plant. The role ensures safe and reliable operation of all electrical systems, equipment, and control units used in the wastewater treatment process.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of STP equipment such as pumps, motors, panels, blowers, mixers, and associated electrical systems.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per schedule to avoid equipment breakdown.
Inspect, diagnose, and rectify faults in electrical control panels, MCCs, switchgear, and wiring.
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and instruments.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and plant operational procedures.
Monitor electrical system performance and report abnormalities to the Supervisor/Engineer.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
Minimum
3 years of hands-on experience
in an STP, wastewater facility, or similar industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor control circuits, and basic instrumentation.
Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Contract length: 2 months
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,600.00 per month
