We are hiring Electrical Technician

?

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Electrical Technician

with a strong background in Industrial Automation and Fire Alarm Systems, preferably from

Power Plant or pumping station projects

. This hands-on role involves

installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems, including field instrumentation

.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Support SCADA system checks and protection relay coordination when needed. Troubleshoot electrical faults. Install, test, inspect, and maintain

fire alarm systems

(addressable and conventional). Carry out functional testing of:
- Smoke and heat detectors
- Manual call points
- Fire alarm control panels (FACP)
- Sounders, strobes, and beacons

Perform

routine preventive maintenance

of fire alarm and fire suppression systems.

Erection and installation

of electrical panels, including:

- Switchgear

- RTU (Remote Terminal Units)

- DCDB (DC Distribution Board)

- ACDB (AC Distribution Board)

Termination

of power and control cables as per wiring diagrams.

Modification of relay panels

based on updated schematics or field requirements.

Cable pulling

, glanding, and dressing of

LV/MV power and control cables

.

Installation of cable trays, cable ladders

, and cable trunking systems. Installation of

earthing conductors

using copper tape and bonding to ensure system grounding compliance. Laying out and installing

electrical conduit piping

for lighting systems and general-purpose outlets. Welding and fitting of supports for:
-

Fuel, water, CO? pipelines

- Other

mechanical structures and light fabrication

tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

?

Diploma

or

ITI

in Electrical or Instrumentation.

? Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation & Fire Alarm Systems within the UAE.

? Experience in Power Plant or pumping station projects preferred.

? Strong knowledge of control panels, PLC systems, and instrumentation.

? Ability to read & interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

? Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.

? Willingness to work on-site across various UAE locations.
