Job Summary (List Format):
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot engine and electrical issues in outboard/inboard motors.
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and full rigging tasks to ensure optimal engine performance.
- Maintain and manage inventory of spare parts, and handle ordering and documentation.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended service schedules, performing routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, etc.).
- Test and verify engine repairs to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate professionally with customers, providing explanations, answering questions, and offering maintenance advice.
- Accurately document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage; complete service reports and work orders.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations related to tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
- Requires high school diploma (or equivalent) and technical training/certification in marine electrics or a related field.
- Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with outboard/inboard engines, diagnostic tools, and electrical systems.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work independently.
