Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform daily inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems. Monitor and control all facility operations, ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning properly. Troubleshoot any problem or issue with the equipment and systems, such as diesel generators, solar inverters, switchgear, transformers, monitoring devices, etc. Install electrical cables, switchgear, solar systems, and other electrical, mechanical and control equipment when needed. Document all inspections, maintenance and repair activities on diesel generators, solar inverters and other electrical equipment (LV panels, transformers, etc). Monitor the performance of all systems, utilizing data and metrics to ensure the plant's operation is meeting the required standards and expectations. Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are being followed. Work closely with other staff members to ensure all operations are running smoothly. Maintain accurate records and logs of all plant operations. Monitor fuel level and attend fuel deliveries, logging all relevant information. Ensure all necessary supplies and materials are available for plant operations. Perform cleaning of solar modules. Maintain proper housekeeping on site. Report daily activities to supervisor and discuss potential improvements. Perform other support tasks as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years relevant work experience, ideally in electrical systems and power generation with diesel generators, solar PV inverters, LV and MV electrical distribution (11kV) equipment. Good written and oral communication in English. Arabic is a plus Strong work ethics, confident & professional. Excellent time management skills, and ability to multitask & prioritize work. Driving License would be a plus. Good understanding of troubleshooting activities on electrical system including safe use of multimeter and other testing equipment (insultation resistance tester, earth resistance tester, etc.) Good understanding of maintenance activities on diesel generators (oil change, filter change, radiator clean, fan belt replacement, etc.) Experienced filling reports and checklists for inspections and incidents Able to read single line diagrams for electrical systems Follow work rules and procedures Strong teamwork orientation Strong attitude for autonomous problem solving Detail oriented Capable of working non-standard hours if needed

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
