Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical systems, performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment and systems function efficiently and safely, meeting the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring for both commercial and residential projects. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in systems and equipment. Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics. Test electrical systems using specialized equipment to identify issues and ensure functionality. Ensure that all electrical installations meet local and national electrical codes. Work with other team members to complete complex electrical installations and repairs. Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the job. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Ensure all work is performed safely and according to workplace safety procedures. Respond to emergency calls for electrical repairs as needed. Provide guidance to junior technicians or apprentices when required.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces). Ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid electrical technician certification or license (as required by local regulations).
