Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical testing, inspections, and servicing, particularly related to Low Voltage (LV) panels. Key Responsibilities

Electrical Testing and Inspection

Perform ACB (Air Circuit Breaker) testing to ensure system safety and efficiency. Carry out primary and secondary injection testing to validate the operation of protective relays and circuit breakers. Conduct contact resistance testing to verify the integrity of electrical connections. Execute earth and lightning arrestor testing to ensure protective systems are functioning correctly. Use thermography for non-invasive inspection and early detection of faults or overheating. Safely remove electrical panel covers and shrouds in accordance with inspection protocols.
LV Panel Servicing

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of LV panels to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within LV panels. Support switchgear modifications based on evolving system needs.
Additional Electrical Services

Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for electrical systems. Support a wide range of electrical testing and inspection services offered by the company. Work collaboratively across departments to deliver integrated and seamless service.
Documentation and Reporting

Prepare clear, detailed test and service reports, documenting all findings and actions taken. Maintain accurate records of measurements, component replacements, and servicing details.
Collaboration

Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve electrical system issues and contribute to ongoing improvements.
Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, and LV panel servicing/modification. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing methodologies, and industry standards. Familiarity with local codes and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate service records. Certification in electrical testing or LV panel servicing is a plus. UAE driving license is an advantage.
