to perform the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in a
Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
. The technician will ensure the safe and reliable operation of motors, control panels, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems critical to wastewater treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, motors, starters, control panels, and lighting systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all electrical equipment.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant codes and safety regulations.
Maintain and update records of maintenance activities and reports.
Work with plant automation systems including PLC panels, SCADA interfaces (basic level).
Respond to electrical emergencies and restore equipment operation with minimal downtime.
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for integrated system maintenance.
Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum
3-5 years
of experience in electrical maintenance within a
wastewater/sewage treatment plant
or similar industrial environment.
Good knowledge of electrical power systems, control systems, and safety practices.
Experience working with motors, MCCs, VFDs, relays, switchgear, and backup power systems (generators/UPS).

Pay: QAR2,300.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
