Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed control systems, and sensors. Conduct calibration and maintenance of precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in operations. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations. Utilize AutoCAD for designing electrical layouts and modifications as needed. Provide field service support for equipment installations and repairs at customer sites. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance operational efficiency through effective electrical solutions. Maintain compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.

Skills

Strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanical knowledge, and industrial electrician experience. Proficiency in E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) practices. Experience with CNC machinery and vision inspection systems is a plus. Familiarity with Calypso for measurement tasks is advantageous. Ability to work with various electrical tools including ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients during field service operations. Military experience is valued but not required; however, candidates should demonstrate reliability and commitment to quality work.
