JOB PURPOSE

Direct and participates in carrying out maintenance and installation work on any or part of the electrical system in assigned areas of the LNG Plant & ASR units. Monitor and supervise team members in order to execute the activities in the assigned area by following the standard work procedures and insure the implementation of ADNOC LNG HSE regulations.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Direct electrical maintenance work carried out in the assigned areas of LNG Plant/ ASR units according to specifications and company standards and regulations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Understand all isolation procedure and create/amend new procedures as and when required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Certified with 11 KV Isolation authorities.
\xef\x82\xb7 Fully understand the full power distribution of power grid and fully understand each component of the grid.
\xef\x82\xb7 Interpret electrical drawings and apply modifications on existing drawings as required
\xef\x82\xb7 Analyze and troubleshoot most electrical failures of electrical equipment, including power generators, various types of switchgears, transformers, motors, Variable Speed Drives, heater circuits and systems, control circuits, cathodic protection systems, and switching supply systems
\xef\x82\xb7 Diagnose faults and guide electrical Technicians/Senior Technicians in the repair of switch-boards, faulty breakers, transformers, motors, protection systems, earthing systems, alarm system, etc. and ensure proper repairs are carried out.
\xef\x82\xb7 Analyze the alarms and actions of the protection relay and extract settings and data from the protection relay as required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) as a tool to input and review equipment data history, timesheet and work order
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate day to day Electrical maintenance activities in LNG & ASR plant and associated facilities as per ADNOC LNG standards and HSE regulations and maintain good house keeping
\xef\x82\xb7 Follow the Blackout procedure and deal with his assigned location as required
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure the provision of materials and equipment required to undertake the assigned maintenance work

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
