Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Site Engineer with hands-on experience in construction projects to oversee electrical installations, ensure compliance with design specifications, and maintain quality and safety standards on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to manage electrical works efficiently. Key Responsibilities: 1. On-Site Electrical Works Supervision:
Supervise and coordinate electrical installations (LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, earthing, cabling, etc.) as per approved drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, DM/ADM codes) and international standards (IEC, NEC, BS).
Conduct inspections and testing (IR, continuity, megger tests) and ensure proper documentation.
2. Project Coordination & Quality Control:
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements before execution.
Monitor work progress, track delays, and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure all electrical works meet project specifications.
3. Safety & Compliance:
Enforce HSE policies (OSHA, UAE OSHAD) and ensure safe work practices for electrical teams.
Report and rectify safety violations, hazards, or non-conformities immediately.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain daily logs, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
Assist in preparing progress reports, snag lists, and handover documents.
Support the project team in closeout and commissioning activities
