Job Description

:

Responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical systems related to rides and amusement attractions to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly electrical inspections and maintenance of all rides. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, control panels, sensors, and wiring issues. Inspect and test motors, contactors, relays, and PLC systems for proper operation. Ensure all electrical equipment complies with safety and site standards. Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance, inspections, and test results. Support mechanical and operations teams during ride setup. Replace or repair defective components such as fuses, switches, and cables. Perform regular checks on grounding, insulation resistance, and circuit continuity. Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and ensure safe work practices at all times. Coordinate with third-party inspectors for annual ride certification and testing.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in ride or amusement park electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and PLC troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiar with safety procedures and preventive maintenance standards.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required. Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
