Electrical Procurement Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for electrical equipment and materials.
Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documentation.
Coordinate with project and engineering teams to ensure technical specifications are met.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and manage supplier performance.
Maintain records of procurement activities, contracts, and inventory.
Monitor project budgets and support cost-control measures.
Follow up on logistics, import/export procedures, and compliance with procurement policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma / Graduate in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in MEP procurement.
Strong experience in highrise building and villa projects.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with local and international suppliers, material specifications, and delivery management.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
Experience:
Proven experience in procurement for electrical/MEP projects within highrise buildings and villas.
Must be currently based in the UAE.
