Review job tasks, understand risk assessments, and follow job safety analysis (JSA).
Conduct toolbox talks (TBT) before starting work.
Electrical Works
Perform installation, termination, glanding, and testing of electrical equipment up to 11kV.
Handle cable pulling, routing, dressing, and megger testing.
Support LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures during isolation and energization.
Instrumentation Works
Install and calibrate field instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow transmitters, control valves).
Carry out tubing, loop checking, and signal testing as per I/O list.
Ensure proper tagging and instrument location as per drawings.
Safety Compliance
Comply with ADNOC HSE rules, use correct PPE, and work in accordance with confined space, hot work, or working at height permits.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents.
Quality & Documentation
Ensure all works are done according to IFC drawings and method statements.
Fill daily work reports, checklists, and close PTW after job completion.
Coordinate with Area Authority (AA) and Permit Coordinator as needed.
Tool & Equipment Handling
Use testing tools such as multimeters, megger, loop calibrators, and HART communicators.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tools and equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Instrumentation
Certification:
ADNOC-approved Job Performer card for Electrical & Instrumentation
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry (preferably ADNOC sites)
Skills:
Ability to read and understand E&I drawings (loop diagrams, wiring schematics, etc.)
Understanding of hazardous area classification and intrinsically safe installations
Good communication in English (verbal and written)
