Job Description

The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for site inspection, monitoring, and reporting of all electrical works related to building services, power distribution, lighting, and utilities. The role ensures that installation and construction activities are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, standards, and safety requirements. The candidate must be available to

join immediately

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct daily site inspections for electrical works (LV/MV systems, street lighting, cabling, earthing, power distribution, etc.). Verify installations against approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications. Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with authority standards. Monitor contractor's work quality and raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) or site observations where required. Witness and verify electrical testing & commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with international codes (IEC, NEC, BS, IEEE, etc.) and local authority regulations. Maintain daily inspection logs, reports, and proper documentation. Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other disciplines to resolve site issues. Support the Resident Engineer in ensuring timely and quality completion of works.

Qualifications & Experience:



Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum

7+ years of experience

in site inspection of electrical works (consultant/supervision background preferred). Strong knowledge of electrical systems: LV/MV distribution, lighting, grounding, and utilities. Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures and safety regulations. Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

Must be available to join immediately.

UPDA/MME certification (for Qatar projects) is an advantage.
