Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret contract documents, detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
Inspect and monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract standards.
Verify contractor compliance through site observation, measurements, testing, and quality assurance tracking.
Process and review inspection requests, method statements, and technical submittals related to electrical works.
Maintain accurate daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site activities.
Carry out site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
Document site activities including work location, methods used, materials delivered, and progress status.
Apply and enforce quality control and quality assurance procedures across all electrical works.
Monitor health and safety practices on site and report any violations or unsafe conditions.
Prepare site measurements, inspection reports, and technical documentation in a clear and professional manner.
Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Ideal Profile
Diploma in Engineering is required; candidates aiming to progress to Engineer level should hold a relevant engineering degree.
Minimum 7 years of overall experience in electrical inspection and construction supervision.
At least 5 years of experience working on consultancy-led projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and building codes.
Experience across mixed-use developments, residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of quality control, quality assurance, and health and safety requirements.
