AGSE Global Services is looking for an Electrical GSE Technician to join its growing team in Dubai, at our newly established workshop located in Dubai South. You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and quality control of aerospace tooling and ground support equipment. Under the supervision of the Workshop Manager, you will ensure all operations are performed in accordance with technical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures to support clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload tools or equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect incoming Ground Support Equipment such as GPU, HPU, Power Units, Coolant Carts, etc., verifying their condition and functionality in accordance with technical documentation (drawings, manuals and specifications).
Perform routine, predictive and preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems and associated subsystems as per standard procedures and checklists.
Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairing and testing of a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment (including medium and low voltage).
Conduct skilled electrical fault finding, diagnosis and defect repair on both static and mobile units.
Support calibration, load testing and performance verification of electrical equipment when required.
Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety standards, internal quality procedures and applicable regulations.
Perform on-site interventions (inspection, repair and maintenance) when required, under the direction of the Workshop Manager.
Conduct final quality and functionality checks prior to equipment release and shipping.
Ensure all tools and equipment are clean, secured and properly packaged before dispatching to the customer.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment in the workshop.
Accurately complete job reports, maintenance records, inspection forms and all required documentation.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement, reliability enhancement and customer satisfaction by performing all tasks with professionalism and attention to detail

Profile & Skills
Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in installation, repair, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment ideally within Ground Support Equipment, industrial systems or aviation-related environments.
Experience with electrical Ground Support Equipment and familiarity with electrical testing and calibration processes in a workshop or laboratory environment is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems for multidisciplinary troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, including fault finding, control panels, and wiring schematics.
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, and OEM manuals accurately.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a clear focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (spoken and written) and the ability to read technical documentation and write clear reports.
Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
High regard for safety regulations and adherence to procedures.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ERP.
