Job Title:

Electrical Foreman Qualification

? Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering field from a recognized college or

university.

Experience:

? Minimum 15 years' experience in a refinery/petrochemical environment covering operation, maintenance, and repair of MV/HV electrical equipment, motors, transformers, switchgears, UPS, VFD, batteries, gas turbine and diesel generators.

? Minimum 5 years in supervisory position

Scope of Work:

Part of the group is responsible for maintenance and efficient operation of all refineries low and medium voltage electrical systems and equipment which includes 3.3 kV, 11 kV and 33 kV voltage levels. Study and resolve technical problems, compile maintenance procedures, develop maintenance strategies and optimize preventive maintenance activities. Management of maintenance personnel and contractors.

Tasks and Duties:

? Maintenance and troubleshooting of LV, MV, HV circuit breakers, ACB, VCB & SF6 breakers

of different manufacturers such as ABB, Schneider, Siemens etc.

? Maintenance of UPS systems, battery chargers & inverters of different manufacturers such

as ABB, Gutor etc.

? Good knowledge of protection relays, including testing & calibration.

? To prepare all control and protection schematics for Switchgear & Control Panels.

? RTCC panel parallel operation of high voltage 33kV system.

?Sound knowledge in working on LV & HV power Transformers, substations, and their

switchgear.

?Operation & maintenance of VFD units (ABB, 3.3kV, 415V).

? Maintenance and troubleshooting of plant earthing and cathodic protection systems.

?Maintenance and Installation of Boilers & Water Treatment Plants.

?Isolation and energization of electrical equipment as per maintenance & operational requirements.

?Operation of control board circuits for industrial machines & overhead cranes.

?Acquaintance with Cable fault finding & locating using various test equipment.

?Installation & Maintenance of Fire alarm system.

?Support and coordinate electrical equipment maintenance at company facilities with LO/TO and outage planning. Maintaining inventory, inspection & calibration of all high voltage tooling & equipment as required.

?Execution and optimization of yearly electrical preventive maintenance program.

? Optimization of stock holding items and levels for spare parts.

? Preparation and execution of activities during refinery T&I shutdowns.

Safety:

? Support and satisfy the policies, goals, efforts and program of the Environment, Health & Safety, (EHS) Management System. Personal commitment towards company's safety programs.

? Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety practices and procedures.

? Preparing Risk Analysis, HIRA and managing certification audit for the complex.

? Making daily reports & permits system as per safety compliances.

? Ensuring compliance with safety standards. Competencies/Skills/Others:

? Strong knowledge of systems & related software.

? Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and O & M requirements.

? Daily work planning and scheduling.

? Strong Oral & written communication skills.

? Must have the ability to overcome obstacles and have the organizational skills necessary to complete assignments in a timely manner.

? Demonstrated ability to be proactive in problem solving and to lead the resolution of equipment problems.

? Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.

? Good hand on experience on SAP.

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE MINIMUM 15 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN OIL & GAS FIELD, OUT OF WHICH 5 YEARS AS A SUPERVISOR. Applicants must be in the UAE.
