Electrical Foreman
Job Description
Supervise and lead a team of electricians and helpers at site.
Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks according to project requirements.
Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and QCS / Kahramaa standards.
Coordinate with site engineers and other trades (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) to avoid work clashes.
Monitor site progress and report daily updates to the Engineer / Project Manager.
Oversee installation of electrical systems such as cable trays, conduits, wiring, lighting, power distribution, switchgear, DBs, MCC panels, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformity to design and safety standards.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company safety policies and relevant electrical safety standards.
Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices among workers.
Report and assist in investigating any site incidents or near misses.
Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors for work sequencing and priority setting.
Attend site coordination and toolbox meetings.
Guide workers in technical aspects and ensure understanding of drawings and installation details.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical works (construction, maintenance, or substation / transmission projects).
