Position Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE

Department: Electrical Engineering

Reports To: Managing Director

Employment Type: Full-Time

The ideal candidate must hold a valid EWE Engineer License and have proven experience in MEP design drawings, authority coordination, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Design and review electrical systems (power, lighting, low current, and mechanical equipment connections) in accordance with UAE regulations standards. Prepare and submit electrical drawings, load schedules, and single-line diagrams for EWE approval under the engineer's license. Coordinate with EWE and other relevant authorities for project submissions and approvals. Ensure compliance with EWE and local municipality requirements throughout all project stages. Integrate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure cohesive and efficient design. Prepare technical reports, specifications, BOQs, and material submittals for client and authority review. Supervise and inspect electrical installations on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Liaise with clients, and local authorities to track and expedite approvals, inspections, and handovers. Maintain complete records of authority submissions, approvals, and correspondence. Support tendering processes, cost estimations, and subcontractor evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Valid EWE Engineer License (mandatory). Minimum5 years of UAE experiencing MEP design, authority submissions, and supervision within an Engineering Contracting. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred),electrical calculation software, and MS Office. Strong knowledge of UAE standards, EWE regulations, and international electrical codes (IEC, NEC). Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills. UAE Driving License (mandatory).
