Design, review, and implement fire protection and fire-fighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, foam, gas suppression, fire alarms).
Ensure compliance with local and international fire codes and standards (NFPA, FM, BS, IS, local civil defense requirements).
Conduct fire risk assessments and hazard analysis for buildings and industrial facilities.
Prepare and review fire protection drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of fire-fighting systems.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
Carry out site inspections to verify system performance and code compliance.
Develop fire emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
Provide technical support and training on fire safety systems and fire-fighting equipment.
Investigate fire incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
Maintain documentation, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
Ensure regular maintenance, testing, and certification of fire protection systems.
Liaise with fire departments and civil defense authorities for approvals and audits.
