Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Electrical Engineer
with over11 years of experience in the UAE
, specifically withinconsultancy firms
. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge oflocal authorities
(DEWA, DM, DCD, Telecom) and must possess avalid UAE driving license
. Experience inwarehouse and industrial projects
ismandatory
.Key Responsibilities:
Design and review electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, with a focus on
warehouse developments
. Ensure all designs comply withlocal authority regulations
(DEWA, DM, DCD, Telecom). Prepare and review load schedules, single line diagrams, and technical specifications. Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines. Attend site inspections, authority meetings, and technical discussions as needed. Oversee project progress to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery. Lead and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen in the electrical department.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).11+ years of UAE experience
in a consultancy environment is mandatory.Valid UAE Driving License
. Proven experience handling authority approvals withDEWA, DM, DCD, Etisalat/Du
. Strong portfolio ofwarehouse or industrial projects
. Excellent understanding ofUAE building codes and electrical regulations
. Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux, and relevant electrical design tools. Strong communication and project coordination skills.Preferred:
Membership in
Society of Engineers (UAE)
. Familiarity withBIM/Revit
is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED18,000.00 per month
