The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and DEWA/ADDC/local authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review electrical designs and drawings, ensuring compliance with standards.
Supervise site electrical installations, including LV/HV systems, lighting, fire alarms, and BMS.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Inspect site activities and ensure quality execution of electrical works.
Prepare material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
Ensure all works comply with local authorities' regulations (DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in building services or infrastructure projects in UAE/GCC.
Good knowledge of DEWA, ADDC, or SEWA regulations.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical calculation software.
Preferred Qualifications:
UAE Society of Engineers membership.
DEWA/ADDC approval (advantage).
