Job Purpose

(The primary reasons for which the job exists in the company) Electrical engineer should carry out the all Maintenance and Operation activities in the Power plant as per the O & M standards

1. Assist AM in the Facilities Management, Electrical Maintenance planning, execution, commissioning and support in the crises management as and when required. 2. Preparing the Daily reports, Weekly reports, Monthly reports, Incident report, & Defect reports. 3. Monitoring the Load demand, power generation & Engine outages. 4. Effective handling of tools and tackles to improve the safety & quality of Maintenance. 5. Preparing P.P.M (Planned Preventive Maintenance) for Top/Major Overhauls & Emergency Corrective Maintenance of diesel engines & RO plant and submission of Annual PPM schedule for Electrical maintenance. 6.Maintaining logs and records of normal operations and maintenance of power plant. 7. Preparing the S.O.P for routine maintenance activities of engines as per manufacturer's recommendations. 8. Carrying out the Annual bus bar maintenance and submission of Bus bar maintenance report. 9. Submission of overhauling reports after completion of Scheduled Maintenance, including all technical details of the Overhauled engine. 10. Submission of Fault cum technical reports for each corrective / breakdown maintenance. 11. Preparing spare part lists & planning AMS (annual maintenance schedule) of engines due for Major/Top overhauling.
