The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for landscaping projects, requiring technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration with design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
designing electrical systems for outdoor lighting, irrigation systems, water features, and other electrical installations in landscaping projects.
Project Management:
Oversee electrical aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Collaboration:
Work closely with landscape architects, project managers, and other engineers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall designs.
Site Assessment:
Conduct site evaluations to assess electrical needs and constraints, providing recommendations for optimal solutions.
Compliance:
Ensure all electrical designs comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, as well as industry standards.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues that arise during installation or maintenance of landscaping systems.
Documentation:
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports to document designs and project progress.
Innovation:
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose new methods and solutions that enhance our services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in landscaping.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
