Job Scope

The

Electrical Engineer

will lead the electrical design, review, and supervision of advertising and digital signage projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical installations meet technical, safety, and authority standards while supporting the

integration of DOOH and smart systems across sites

. This role is hands-on, involving coordination with architectural and IoT teams, as well as field verification of installations.

Key Responsibilities

Review and approve electrical shop drawings, load calculations, and power layouts for signage and DOOH assets. Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), power distribution layouts, and cable routing plans. Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure electrical integration within design frameworks. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Supervise contractors during installation, ensuring materials and workmanship meet required standards. Liaise with local authorities (DEWA, RTA, Municipality) for NOCs, inspections, and approvals. Support commissioning of lighting and digital systems, including LED screens, control units, and sensors. Troubleshoot electrical or power-related issues in existing installations and propose corrective actions. Ensure all systems are energy-efficient, safe, and aligned with project specifications. Prepare inspection checklists, test reports, and as-built documentation for project closure.

Required Technical Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in signage, fit-out, or digital media installations.

Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, LED technologies, and electrical control systems. Familiarity with UAE authority standards and electrical codes (DEWA, RTA, Dubai Municipality). Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant electrical design tools. Excellent coordination, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and conduct frequent site supervision.
