Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and installations on construction projects Develop and maintain electrical BIM models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards and client requirements. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems within the overall building design. Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using BIM software, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building components within the BIM environment. Conduct electrical system design calculations, including load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit analysis. Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings to ensure the electrical design meets project goals and specifications. Oversee the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and schedules for electrical components and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on electrical BIM-related issues. Stay current with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering and BIM technology. Review technical drawings and specifications Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines. Conduct testing and inspections

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction projects Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and DiaLux. Proficient in BIM in an advantage. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Possess experience working on commercial, industrial, or institutional building projects. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design conflicts. Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal. Be able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with various stakeholders.
