Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop electrical system layouts (lighting, power, data, etc.) in coordination with interior design layouts. Create detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software. Perform Electrical load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selection in compliance with local codes (DEWA, ADDC, etc.). Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP systems to avoid clashes. Review and approve MEP Shop drawings and material submittals. Conduct site inspections to ensure correct implementation of electrical systems as per approved designs. Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely procurement and installation of electrical components. Troubleshoot and resolve site issues during fit-out execution. Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and authority approvals (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.). Prepare documentation and support applications for authority approvals and inspections. Work closely with interior designers, architects, and civil engineers to ensure the electrical design enhances overall aesthetic and functionality. Attend Projects meetings to provide technical input and updates on electrical work status.

Qualifications:

B. Tech in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the interior fit-out or construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office. Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense). Good understanding of interior design principles and how electrical systems impact aesthetics. Excellent communication and project coordination skills. Must have UAE valid driving license.
