Key Responsibilities
Design and Planning
: Develop detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems. Prepare and submit electrical drawings and load schedules for ADDC or DEWA approvals.
Project Execution
: Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, guaranteeing compliance with approved designs. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Regulatory Compliance
: Ensure all electrical installations strictly comply with ADDC, DEWA, and other relevant authority regulations. Manage and prepare all necessary documentation for approvals and inspections.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
: Provide technical expertise to resolve electrical issues that arise during construction or operation. Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
A
Bachelor's degree
in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the UAE.
Mandatory
: Valid
ADDC or DEWA Electrical Engineer Approval/License
.
Strong knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit.
Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
