Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and layout drawings using CAD or other design software. Specify and select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, panels, and wiring systems. Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit studies, and protective device coordination. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, civil, automation) to ensure integrated project delivery. Supervise or coordinate the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems during design, construction, or operation phases. Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and documentation from vendors or contractors. Ensure all designs and installations adhere to safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's degree is a plus). Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred or required depending on region). [2-10+] years of relevant experience in electrical system design, installation, and maintenance. Proficient in DEWA/TAQA/FEWA/SEWA/EWA. Strong knowledge of national and international electrical codes and standards. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
