to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of electrical systems in construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and other building services. You will work closely with architects, civil engineers, and construction teams to ensure that all electrical systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and local codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, low current systems (fire alarm, data, CCTV), and backup systems (generators, UPS).
Prepare electrical plans, schematics, load calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
Coordinate electrical design with other engineering disciplines and architectural layouts.
Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical plans, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Supervise electrical installations, testing, and commissioning on-site.
Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material specifications.
Identify and resolve design and construction issues related to electrical systems.
Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to source appropriate electrical materials and equipment.
Provide technical support to project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
