Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical systems related to multistorey buildings and commercial/residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and oversee the installation of electrical systems in construction projects.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and layouts.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth execution.
Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Prepare BOQs, load schedules, and technical submittals.
Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of electrical works.
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience in the building construction sector.
Strong knowledge of DEWA/ADDC or equivalent authority regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
