We are looking for a

Electrical Engineer

with a strong background in

building services design

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working in a

design consultancy environment

and be

certified by Dubai Municipality

for electrical design works.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of electrical systems for building projects, including lighting, power distribution, ELV, and fire alarm systems. Ensure all designs comply with local authority regulations, codes, and international standards. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other consultants during all design phases. Prepare and review electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications. Oversee submissions to local authorities (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) and ensure timely approvals. Provide technical support during project execution and site inspections.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of experience

in electrical design within a

consultancy firm

, particularly in the UAE.

Dubai Municipality certification

for electrical design is mandatory. Solid knowledge of UAE regulations, DEWA standards, and relevant codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, and other electrical design tools. Strong project coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Hotel, mixed-use, residential and high-rise building projects. LEED or sustainable design knowledge.
