to design, implement, and oversee electrical systems in various projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, be familiar with local regulations, and capable of handling site supervision, design coordination, and testing of electrical installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
Review and interpret project specifications, BOQs, and technical submittals.
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and civil teams to integrate electrical systems with overall project requirements.
Supervise installation of electrical systems on site (lighting, power, LV, cabling, grounding, etc.).
Ensure compliance with DEWA / ADDC / local authority regulations.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Monitor progress, quality, and safety at the site.
Prepare project documentation including shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material approvals.
Assist in procurement by reviewing technical data and vendor submittals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc or BEng).
3-7 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or building projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, and MS Office.
Familiarity with international and local electrical codes (IEC, NEC, BS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and team coordination abilities.
Preferred:
Experience in
UAE
or
GCC
projects.
DEWA / ADDC or Dubai Municipality approval (preferable).
Knowledge of ELV, Fire Alarm, and BMS systems.
Valid UAE driving license (optional).
