We are looking for a qualified and experienced

Electrical Engineer

with a strong background in designing, developing, and supervising electrical systems, particularly with prior experience working on projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of UAE electrical codes and standards, and the ability to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency in all electrical engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in compliance with UAE regulations and standards. Prepare detailed electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams using relevant software tools. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor electrical installations and ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to deliver integrated project solutions. Review and approve electrical designs, specifications, and material submittals. Manage electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes (such as DEWA requirements), and health & safety standards. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project progress updates. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to procure electrical equipment and materials. Provide technical support and guidance during construction and handover phases.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 1-5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, with at least 2 years working on projects in the UAE. In-depth knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and regulations including DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or other electrical design and analysis software. Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting systems, grounding, protection systems, and electrical safety. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with renewable energy systems and energy-efficient technologies. Familiarity with construction project management and site supervision. Knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NEC, or IEEE. Experience with preparation of tender documents and cost estimation.
