Wood is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join our team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Electrical engineering design and analysis
Thorough awareness of relevant international codes and standards
Experience in FEED and Detail Engineering jobs
Experience in brownfield jobs
Experience in Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor package management
Experience of the application of HAZOP, e-HAZOP, 3D Model and Constructability Review to Electrical design
Experience with Electrical design for prefabricated/modular packaged equipment
Experience in Power System modelling and study on ETAP
Previous experience of working on site for construction support would be an advantage
Previous experience of working in the Middle East/Iraq would be an advantage
Ability to work on assigned scope independently
Ability to lead designers and junior engineers
Proficient in the use of Navisworks, Lighting calculation Software (Dialux etc.) and MS-office
Good Oral and Communication skills
Able to demonstrate team working skills
Flexible with a can-do attitude
Skills / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BSc, BEng or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas industry
