Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Qatar

Electrical Engineer with UPDA / QCDD - MEP Company Experience.

Immediate Joining with NOC

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Design, review, and supervise electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects (LV & MV). Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, single-line diagrams, and material submittals according to project specifications and Kahramaa standards. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment such as panels, transformers, lighting, power, and fire alarm systems. Coordinate with MEP teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure proper integration between electrical and other building systems (HVAC, plumbing, smart systems). Perform site inspections to ensure work compliance with drawings, safety, and quality standards. Manage material procurement, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation. Ensure adherence to Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) and Kahramaa regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during execution. Prepare progress reports and documentation for client and consultant approval.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by MME - Ministry of Municipality & Environment). Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP or building services projects in Qatar or GCC. Strong knowledge of Kahramaa standards and local authority requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and MS Office. Excellent communication and coordination skills. UPDA Grade (advantage). Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred).
