Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and coordinate
electrical designs, drawings, and specifications
for building projects.
Perform
load calculations
,
cable sizing
, and
equipment selection
in line with project requirements.
Ensure compliance with
local authority regulations
(DEWA, ADDC, FEWA, SEWA, etc.).
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Conduct
site inspections
to verify installation quality and adherence to approved designs.
Coordinate with
architectural, structural, and MEP teams
to resolve design conflicts.
Participate in technical meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Support project management in ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
(Master's preferred).
Minimum 8 years of experience
in an
engineering consultancy environment
.
Proven experience in
high-rise or large-scale building projects
.
Strong knowledge of
MEP systems
,
electrical design codes
, and
local authority standards
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
Revit
, and electrical design software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
